 Interfaith Emergency Services provides a full range of services and assistance for residents of Marion County. We serve individuals and families in need. 


 Since June 15, 2015, this ministry owned and operated 501(c)(3) Non-Profit Organization has been making strides in promoting healthy lifestyles and providing clinical care. Services are delivered from a rented facility, which house a Medical Clinic and offers services at no cost to those at or below poverty level.

Since 2002 Veterans Helping Veterans USA, Inc. has helped our veterans with many services including financial independence, counseling and making it possible for them to maintain their independence and dignity. The certified shelter in Ocala is a 501c3 non-profit organization committed to helping the battered woman and her family. Our professional and volunteer staff conducts a complete counseling, assistance, safe housing, and referral program. We work with many other community agencies to provide the best possible services to each family that comes to us. We also counsel with husbands who have been battered. All services are free.


Community Legal Services of Mid-Florida (CLSMF) promotes equal access to justice, a core American value. Studies show that 50-80% of low-income Americans’ legal needs go unmet. CLSMF provides civil legal aid to help low-income people protect their livelihoods, their health, and their families. We make it easier for our vulnerable population to access information, receive legal assistance and representation, and to know and understand their rights.  


The Food Assistance Program helps people with low-income buy healthy food. A food assistance household is normally a group of people who live together and buy food and cook meals together. If your household passes the Food Assistance Program's eligibility rules, the amount of food assistance benefits you get depends on the number of people in your household and how much money is left after certain expenses are subtracted. 


Project Hope is a faith-based transitional and supportive housing program that provides the opportunity to empower homeless women and children in our community to reclaim their lives. 


Arnette House provides programs and services to the 5th circuit which includes Marion, Lake, Sumter, Citrus & Hernando Counties by caring and dedicated professionals who focus on the strengths of the family while providing skills and knowledge to help improve life at home. Our master’s-level counselors utilize various forms of therapy with the family to end conflict, improve communication and reunite children with their families.

The mission of Open Arms Village is to combat homelessness by providing transitional housing to homeless men and supportive services to equip them to become independent, productive members of the community 


The Ocala Housing Authority is committed to promoting and delivering quality, well-managed homes to low- and moderate-income families: and, as a valued partner, contribute to the well-being of the individuals, families and community we serve through our diverse menu of services.


 Brothers Keeper is an active member of our community. We are constantly looking for ways to solve the problems of the poor, homeless, and marginalized rather than just continuing to put band-aids on social problems.

 Pay it Forward Outreach is a faith-based, community-driven, donation-funded, outreach organization assisting families facing economic hardships by providing furniture, housewares,  and other essential necessities. Pay it Forward Outreach desires to empower the family unit with spiritual growth and emotional support to gain stability and self-worth.

The Rural Women's Health Project (RWHP), founded in 1991, is a non-profit organization that designs and implements community-based, health-education projects, training, and materials to assist communities in strengthening their understanding of critical health, occupational and family issues. 


Education/Prevention to bring community awareness to the signs and symptoms of opioid use, opioid overdose signs and symptoms,current data on overdose deaths, prevention resources and treatment options. 


To provide leadership and foster partnerships to optimize a quality early learning environment for our children through child care, voluntary pre-kindergarten, and parent education. 


Our mission is to implement programs that focus on achieving outcomes by engaging community partners in helping people living in poverty strengthen their lives. 


Helping Hands is a nonprofit charity, serving the people of Ocala/Marion County.

It was established to provide shelter and related assistance for the homeless, and others who are in difficult situations. Besides shelter, we assist our residents with jobs, food, clothes, medical, dental, transportation, counseling, Bible study and fellowship, and other needed services.

Services include child and adult crisis stabilization, adult residential substance abuse treatment and model clubhouse for those living with mental illness, targeted case management for children and adults, medication management, and individual and group counseling in outpatient, in-home and in-school settings.  


Communication, collaboration and coordination among agencies and individuals who work with children and youth. A voice for children with local and state government representatives and agencies. Assistance to parents and youth to help secure needed resources and services. 


Florida Rx Card is a free statewide discount prescription assistance program. The program was launched to help uninsured and under insured residents afford their prescriptions. 


With so much of the population homeless today and the numbers increasing each year, we’re all looking for ways to help homeless people with pets, make their lives a little easier and help them to keep their pets with them regardless of their financial situation or living arrangements.
